Description:
This fine example of a last ditch bayonet features a blued, very rough blade with no fullers, straight guard, straight grips, and simple rectangular pommel. Ricasso shows a clear Jinsen Arsenal stamping pommel stampings are hard to read. Grip scales are poorly finished with no final sanding, they are held by two iron rivets. This scarce bayonet comes in a seldom seen square tipped wood scabbard with no markings. Scabbard shows a couple small impact marks and several stable grain cracks.
