Description:
Serial #E3465, .357 Magnum, factory 2 1/2” vent rib barrel with an excellent, bright bore. Built in 1970 this exquisite revolver features “D” coverage scroll engraving by noted Colt and S&W custom factory engraver Wayne D'Angelo. The revolver has Colt's Royal Blue finish with gold finished cylinder latch, trigger, frame and grip screws, as well as three flush gold bands: a double band on the cylinder and single band at the muzzle. The exceptional elephant ivory grips were checkered and hand fitted by James Alaimo, the former Superintendent of the Colt Custom Shop and are, like the rest of the revolver, in spectacular condition. Included with the revolver is a letter from Mr. Alaimo detailing the work that went into the production of this superb piece. An original will be included with the Python In short, this is a simply splendid, highly embellished original snub-nosed Python and would make a tremendous addition to any collection of high grade firearms. We do not have a factory letter on this gun but the barrel length has been confirmed by the factory and is guaranteed to letter as such. FFL
