The Thompson Center Contender Hunter Package was made from 1990 to 1997. The single shot guns were fitted with a 12 or 14 inch barrel with muzzle brake, 2.5 power scope with lighted recticle, walnut grip with nonslip rubber insert, includes studs, swivels, sling, deluxe carrying case, and were chambered in .223 Rem., 7-30 Waters, 30-30 Win., .35 Rem., .357 Magnum Max., .375 Win. Mag., .44 Mag., or .45-70 Govt. This Contender Hunter is as described and has the 14 inch barrel (with muzzle brake), instead of a 2.5 power scope this one has a 2.5 to 7 Thompson Center scope, has a plastic pistol grip and forearms with studs instead of the walnut grip with rubber inseert, and is chambered in .223 Rem.. Comes with its deluxe leather carrying case. Sorry, no sling/swivels or paper-work. It is in excellent condition, with only a few handling marks.
