Description:
A nice example of a circa 1815 English Cavalry Military Flintlock pistol. The stock is a full length walnut stock in nice condition. The barrel and lock were finished bright and are clean and in good condition. The trigger guard and butt cap are brass and also in very good condition. There is aa lanyard ring in the butt. There are 6 notches on the right side of the trigger guard. (indicating 6 enemy soldiers dispatched ?). The action is strong .. There is a crown over a "DN" on the lock.There is also a crown at the top of the hammer. There is no ramrod nor was this pistol designed to store one The barrel is 9" long and the overall length is 16".
This would make a handsome addition to a collection. Antique- no FFL required.
