FINE BATTY U.S. 1848 CLASPED HANDS PEACE POWDER FLASK. RILING #861. 9 ½” o/a. Extra nice with good scenes on both sides. Original rings and charger. Spring broken but easy to replace. Perfect seam. Top stamped “BATTY” and dated 1848. Also has “J.A.G.” sub-inspector’s initials stamped on outer edge of top. For use with the U.S. Model 1841 Mississippi Rifle.
