This is a beautiful antique Oak Buffet. Originated from Victor Hugo Paris, probably early 1900's.
I know of its approx age/ origin because many years ago when I purchased this magnificent piece tucked in one of the draws I found a French Identity Card from 1909, which I believe belonged to the previous owner, a doctor.
Size Approx 103 inches high including a family crest, 55 inches wide, 19 depth.
Very typically French with delicate carved hunting scenes, finials and ornate scrolling that gives every attention to detail, tong and grove, bun feet, everything was extremely well made during that period.
The upper part has three shelves the lower part 2 shelves. Everything is original nothing broken, nothing scratched, original key.
The buffet is in remarkable condition for its age, they are rare to find like this, and it will grace any home.
