Back on the market...money never arrived. Standard Modell Mauser carbine Project gun. This rifle is ready for some TLC from your favorite gunsmith. It features a pre-war Mauser action, with “Mauser” stamped on the receiver ring, and factory markings on the action’s side rail. It also has a short Mauser barrel that was fitted to the action, but it came from another rifle. The triggers appear to factory Mauser double set triggers that need to be cleaned up. The stock is German and very likely pre-war, but it is unmarked. A good gunsmith would be able to re-barrel and turn this into a sweet little rifle as all the primary project components are there.
