Description:
Serial #18162N, .303 British, 25” barrel with a fine, bright bore that has some faint traces of mild freckling within the grooves. This is a 1964 dated, import marked rifle that has matching numbers on the bolt and on the post-war style blocky nosecap. The metal has 90-95% of the armory-applied black Suncorite finish remaining which has flaked on the exposed edges as well as on the handle and bearing surfaces of the bolt. The brass buttplate has a dark yellow-ochre patina and the stock compartment is empty. The forend and handguards are in good-very good shape with light-moderate handling marks and surface blemishes while the copper wire wraps are intact and still relatively bright. The buttstock also has scattered bruises and blemishes, heaviest at the buttplate, and a small arsenal repair at the heel of the butt. The large cylindrical cup grenade dispenser is installed at the muzzle and an original 10 rd. magazine is included. This is a great looking, complete Ishapore grenade rifle and is in fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
