#3817 Hopkins & Allin “Dictator” Pocket-Navy 36cal five shot percussion revolver.Fine action and VG+ bore. Made in the late 1860s and well into the 1870s with only about 1000 made in percussion and over 5000 made as 38RFs. Basically just being a bored out Bacon Pocket Model revolver, these well well-built post Civil War revolvers just couldn’t compete with Colt and Manhattan in the highly competitive small personal percussion handgun market. This particular gun has only the faintest traces of original blue, but the metal is Fine with minimal bumps and bruises, the scene is almost Excellent, and the grips are VG. For the collector of percussion revolvers, this is a nice addition. VG++. $775
