G.H. Schoellkopf case/scabbard for scoped rifle made of heavy duty harness leather w ith real sheepskin lining. This quality case/scabbard will truly protect your valuable rifle whether on horseback or on foot. It shows some use but overall in very good condition. Leather is supple and free of cracks or dryness. Sheepskin lining remains in good condition. The G.H. Schoellkopf Co. of Dallas,TX was founded in 1869 and were makers of harness, saddles, and gun leather. They used the "White Elephant" trademark until 1902 when they switched to the "Famous Jumbo Brand" trademark. By 1914 they were the largest saddlery and harness makers in the world.
