Description:
Colt Single Action Army Revolver, model 1873, serial number 163381, manufactured 1895. It sports a 4 3/4 in barrel, blue finish, standard markings, hard rubber grips with the classic Colt emblem and is a 38-40 cal, designed for using black powder cartridges. Bore is somewhat dirty with about 90% riflings. The mechanics are very good and locks tight. All numbers match. The metal is relatively clean with 25% to 30% blue overall. Estimating about 50% overall, The Blue Book of Guns sets its value at around $12000. This Colt will make a great addition to any ones collection. I have a letter of authentication from Colt on this gun. I'm open to realistic bids on this collectors item but I'm not giving it away.
