Made in the 1940's this is a wonderful Pre Model 17 .22 Revolver with all the good features - 5 screw, recessed chambers, etc. and mounted with a Bushnell Magnum Phantom 1.3x scope and mount. Mount sits on 2 studs drilled and tapped under the rear sight and if scope removed and rear sight replaced there would be no drilled holes visible. But the scope is darned nice. Revolver has later walnut stocks and Pachmayr T Grip installed. All metal finish (blue and case colors) are 99% perfect Bore and chambers are perfect. A wonderful old Smith & Wesson which dominated Police training for many years.
