ANTIQUE WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 OCTAGON .25-20 W.C.F. CAL. RIFLE CIRCA 1895. 22” oct. barrel and full length magazine. Serial number in the 90,xxx range. Original and very good overall. Has Savage Arms elevator rear sight with patent elevator bar having a retaining screw. Certainly added during the period of use as an upgrade. Scarce sight. Grey brown patina with traces of blue. Some old dried grease. Nice crisp markings and barrel address. Pre smokeless proofs. Walnut stock and forend with the original patinated finish. Working order. Good bore with some dark frosting that should clean up well. Rifling well defined.
