Description:
This is from a WWII Veteran's collection of WWII Militaria. He has since passed on.
This SA ground "ROHM" is very nice condition. Made prior to 1934, "The Night of The Long Knives".. It is marked on the lower crossguard "He" for "HESSON", where it was made. It has the "Anodized " scabbard. All fittings are made of nickel silver. O.A.L. is 14.6". It has the "Alles fur Deutschland" (Everthing for Germany) marking on one side of blade. The other side of blade has the Eickhorn "Squirrel" surrounded by oval, early maker's mark,.This has been partially buffed out, in removing the Rohm inscription.
