Description:
Massive spear point Confederate Bowie Knife. Over all length is over 16 inches long. Thick/beefy (almost a quarter inch thick at the center) ridged blade is 11 3/4 of an inch long. Blade is 2 inches wide. Dark patina. Small chip on wood handle. Guard is a little loose from period wood shrinkage. I have owned many Confederate blades and this is one of the best. Look at the massiveness compared to a Dahlgren Union Navy Bowie which is a huge knife. Passing on a the good price I received to the new owner. Compare prices on GI and Civil Warsites
