Description:
This is a Fantastic Presentation Hirschfanger. It measures approx. 23 1/2" overall with a minty 16 1/8" "Triple Engraved" CLEMEN & JUNG Marked blade. Has a Super hunting scene engraved panels. Stag Grip with very nice fittings, Dog & Hoof Crossguard & Elk Scene Clamshell. The scabbard is steel and retains nearly all of the original painted finish. The Frog Stud fas a Quail on it. The reverse upper scabbard fitting is Presentation Engraved, "UNS. SCHEIDEND ?ROCHVEREHCHRBEN KOMMANDEUR HERRN OBERST V. HARLWIG GEWIICHMELL V. OFFIZEIERKORPS D SCHULZPOLIZEI HALLE ?/S 25.5.1921".
