Description:
Colt Detective Special with a 5 1/2" round barrel, and excellent bore. Underside of barrel has stamped: 32 HR. MAG. Not sure if there is a barrel address as as the scope mount covers most of the top of the barrel. No front sight on the barrel and the blue coloring is a Colt blue, matches the rest of the gun which has the original Colt blue, so this gun may have been made be a Colt employee as the Colt Blue dome is only 14 miles from here! The red dot Tasco interior light needs a battery. Action locks up tight and has a Colt very wide spur hammer. The Custom hardwood grips are hand made, and fit the hand very well, giving control to the shooter. This model originally had an adjustable rear sight as I can see a pin for the rear sight.Finish on the gun overall is about 96% blue. A fascinating gun that would make a great shooter.
