Description:
Arrieta Double Side Lock Ejector 16 Gauge - Barrels: 28", 2 3/4" chambers, ic/mod chokes, ejectors, double triggers, auto-resetting safety. Barrel Markings: The right barrel has Arrieta made in Span markings, and the left barrel is marked with the importer/dealer's name "Quality Arms INC. Houston Texas USA". Rib: Tapered, matted, solid rib with brass bead front sight. Receiver: The receiver is lavishly engraved with English floral bouquet & scroll engraving on case colored side plates, cheeks, receiver top and bottom. Wood: Straight grip walnut stock with extended checkering and a leather covered recoil pad. Splinter forearm with checkering and a push bottom release. LOP: 14 3/8"; DAC 1 1/4"; DAC: 1 7/8". Weighs: 6 Lbs. 4 oz.Condition: The barrel blue is in very good condition, about 98% condition. The case color on the left side plate is very strong but is faded toward front hinge, on the right side plate the case color is not quite as strong, but still very good with fading towards the front hinge along the bottom. The case color on the top of the receiver and tang is quite strong, while the bottom of the receiver the case color is fading some and yet there is lots of remaining color. The bores are very bright and shiny. The wood has quite a few very small superficial scratches, typically found on guns that have been hunted with but not abused. There are a couple of small dings as well. The oil finish is getting dry and could use a bit of freshening up. The leather on the recoil pad is raw in places and can use a good going over with some leather preservative/conditioner.
