Description:
This is a Springfield Model 1873 in .45 Caliber. The Rifle is marked "U.S. Springfield 1873" on the sideplate on the right hand side of the rifle. Most of the metal surfaces on the rifle are patina, with some minor rust specklings. The stock has multiple chips, dents, dings, abbrasions, and impressions. The bore has strong rifling, but there are dark spots and signs of corossion in the barrel. This rifle is missing the cleaning rod as well.
