SOLD PENDING FUNDS No 2 of a very early pair (1890), 6.5lb gun probably originally damascus but now with modern steel NP (replacement) barrels, 2 3/4" chambers choked skeet and IC. Action mostly bright except dipped edge locks retaining 30% color. Attractive sharp double scroll engraving. Auto safety, protruding tumbler shafts, third fastener, gas vents. Refinished fiddleback figured stock w light pressure marks on comb. LOP 14 3/8" thru lined ebony plate, silver oval engraved w crest, drops 1 1/4" and 2 1/4", 3/8" cast off. Forend chipped. This is the real deal in wonderful condition as restored, eminently shootable w modern ammunition.
