Description:
S# US0985 + 0985US, 44 caliber percussion, 8 inch barrels, bright excellent bores. This set is one of 2945 built from 1977 to 1980. These remain in excellent condition. The US prefix revolver shows a light turn ring on cylinder and wear on loading lever from ball seater. The US suffix piece shows a hint of a turn ring with a thin scratch on lever from ball seater. Case colors remain bright and the brass trigger guards are developing a nice darker patina. The wood grips look great with cartouches on each side. These come in a large wood display case with shoulder stock, mold, flask, nipple wrench/screw driver, and cap box. Antique.
