Description:
Black Diamond deluxe stock. Marked "trap gun" on the bolt. 12 ga. Equipped with 30" full choke. An early 1897 with just over 20k serial number. It has seen some use. Still some finish remaining on the receiver but is worn and starting to turn color. The bbl has worn blue. Mag tube has pretty much greyed out. It is a bit loose at the take down joint and could be tightened. Action is a bit sticky. Bore is shiny and in good to very good cond. A couple light cracks coming off the frame. The stock itself is deluxe and in relatively good cond. Forearm is correct deluxe style. Checkering is worn. A repaired crack. 1897 trap guns are scarce. Not the finest example but still collectable.
