#4923 Winchester 1873 RBFMCB 162XXX serial range (1884 mfgr), 44WCF with excellent bore being about a 9-1/2 on a scale of 10! Fine smooth action. The metal and markings are also excellent and have almost no bumps or bruises, but the finish has completely gone away to a thin smooth brown patina. The wood is also near excellent with just a few very minor bumps and dings. Standard trigger and open low buckhorn rear sight and pinched blade front. For the shootist who wants a mid-1880s rifle with a REALLY exceptional bore for competitive shooting, this rifle certainly has about the best bore that one could ever hope to find!! About VG++ since it has no significant blue remaining. $2195
