The scalloped, French grey frame has beautifully done deep relief engraving. Oak leaf scroll surrounds game scenes on both sides, and continues to the bottom and to the blued trigger guard and operating lever. There is a running deer with a dark background on the left and a prowling fox on the right. A straight grain, light colored European walnut with a satin oil finish is used for the pistol grip stock and full size forearm. There is a beaded cheekpiece for a right hand shooter. The checkering is sharp and clean.
This is a new gun which has hardly been out of the box. The action is still stiff as it came from the factory. The wood and metal surfaces are impecable and the bores are like new.
