Description:
A nice example of  a weapon used in our Civil War and in the war with Mexico.  .54 cal. round barrel. Two nice cartouches and all the usual proof marks. The lock is dated 1851 as is the barrel. The action is very strong.  Hammer, lock and trigger are blued. Brass has some remaining lacquer. A very small  "K, 10" carved or stamped  on grip on left side, probably during its military service. In overall excellent condition. Only 6000 of the 26,000 made bear the "& Co." on the lock which should make it more collectable.

The condition of this pistol makes it one of the nicest of this model I have seen.
A NO INTEREST payment plan is available. Payment terms are flexible.
There will be a shipping charge.

NOTE:  The  stampings on the lock etc, were very lightly stamped and do not show on the pictures below. They are very clear when the pistol is held in your hand and show no sign of wear- just lightly stamped,  . Any buyer can return this piece in 5 days ( 2 extra days) if  you don't verify the above.

Antique-No FFL needed.
