Description:
Sharps 1863 Conversion Saddle Ring Carbine .44 centerfire, serial number 97,XXX with 22” round bbl. Standard markings are crisp throughout including both sides of the frame. Cartouche on top of shoulder stock near buttplate “H.H.H” sub-inspector marks. Metal carries most of the original finish mixed with brown patina. There are a few dings & marks at the upper end of the barrel. Mechanically very good, bore is excellent with strong rifling. Overall a fine example for its era.
