Inv. 5510 Swedish Sniper Rig, Carl Gustafs Mdl. M1941/B, Cal. 6mm X55. Ser. 2896XX. Dated 1911. A really sweet Swede sniper rig. The original blued finish is at a minimum 75-80%. The bulk of the loss is on the magazine plate and trigger guard, with the usual sharp edge silvering. There is also some toning on the barrel, barrel bands and butt plate. There is no rust or pitting anywhere, only an occasional pin prick. The overall appearance is just super. The scope mount, scope rings, bolt and barreled receiver all match. The barrel bands, buttplate, and trigger guard assembly do not. The scope is a correct German Ajack with the proper 3 post reticle. The lenses are crystal clear. The bore is fine, with sharply pronounced rifling and some slight graying. There are no import marks which is extremely unusual. To complete the rig the gun comes with the original lens covers, rare and correct scope can, front sight protector and sniper sling. It doesn't get much better for the sniper collector or military target shooter ......$3495.
