Description:
Colt 1st Model US Military Dragoon. Serial number 4437 this is a very nice original, hard to find, 1st Model US Military Dragoon. As you can see from the photos all parts have matching numbers and this revolver is in antique good to very good condition. The cyclinder scene is about 50% visible and sharp. The bore of the 7 ½” barrel is very good to fine. The grips have been sanded and oiled but the correct cartouche on the grip panel is very visible. The gun does not index to the correct cylinder alignment but that can be corrected. All in all an excellent addition to a Colt percussion revolver collection.
