***Price Reduction*** For sale is a Winchester Model 1873 Nickel Factory Engraved Saddle Ring Carbine. This rifle features a 20-inch barrel that is chambered in 44-40 and has a full length magazine tube. It has 2X Grade Walnut stock & forend. Everything matches on this carbine with the assembly number on the lower tang, stock and buttplate matching. The nickel finish is mostly present throughout and the engraving is in excellent condition showing various animal scenes. ( Deer and Elk on the right, Bear and Buffalo on the left, Doe on the dustcover ). The wood shows nice grain and has minimal handling marks with no breaks, cracks or deep scratches. The rifling in the barrel is in good condition with some build up present throughout. There is a factory letter that will accompany this rifle.
