#3420 S&W 38 S.A. First Model “Baby Russian” 94%
This is a early First Model Baby Russian with single side plate screw and serial number 1257. It has BRITISH PROOF MARKS on the barrel, frame and cylinder. The mechanical function is very good and tight. The bore and chambers are excellent, bright and shinny. The grips are excellent as well. It retains over 93% original nickel finish and has 95% case colors on the hammer. This is a first or second month production First Model.
