Description:
This is a Marlin 1893 takedown rifle in .30-30. The action and lever have Good patina with case coloring still visible. The top of the receiver has been drilled and tapped. The action is tight. The 26 inch half octagon barrel has Good blue with minor pitting. Sights are a Lyman tang sight, a replacement folding rear and a bead front. The butt plate, fore end cap, and magazine tube have Good blue. The walnut stock has flattened checkering on the pistol grip and Good finish. It does not appear to have been sanded. The underside of the butt stock and fore arm show damage from QD sling swivels having been installed.
