Description:
This is a Browning 78 single shot rifle in .22-250. The receiver is in Very Good condition. There is some light pitting on the right side. The 26 inch barrel is Excellent with a shiny bore and strong rifling. The checkered walnut pistol grip stock has a Monte Carlo comb, a grip cap with a plate for engraving, and a white line Browning rubber recoil pad. The fore end is checkered walnut in a semi-beavertail with a schnabel. Wood condition is Very Good with some light handling marks. This rifle came from Browning with the Pachmayr flush mount sling swivel system. This rifle comes equipped with Browning scope mount bloocks and 1 inch rings.
