Description:
This 45 loop woven cartridge belt has three dark stripes in belt and sewn (not woven) .30 caliber cartridge loops. Belt is 48 inches long with 25 inches of loops and simple C hook buckle with stamped brass keepers. Belt is unmarked, it is probably a product of the Hulbert Brothers Company, one of about 150,000 built by contractors other than Mills. The 1892 Krag Jorgenson bayonet is dated 1898 and remains in very good condition with scratches on right side of the bright unsharpened blade. Guard and pommel show light staining, grip scales show light wear. This comes in a scabbard with 80% blue on exposed side and 50% blue showing stains and light pitting on hook side.
