Colt M-1849 pocket revolver, .31 bp. All in all to collect all of the varieties of 1849’s it would take about 200 revolvers according to Flayderman's! The M-1849 looks just like a ½ scale version (see photo of both together) of a 1st model Dragoon..the problem is that a real one has never been confirmed! These started to show-up as early as the 1940’s and they were believed to have been made in the 1930’s. 5” barrel, good bore. Not much finish, if any, visible exterior pitting.. So here is your opportunity to add an interesting piece to your pocket revolver collection...collectible in its own right!
