WW2 SPRINGFIELD U.S. M1 OR M-1 GARAND .30-06 CAL. RIFLE DATED 6-44. All original serial numbered in the 3,3xx,xxx range with barrel stamped “S A 6 44” for June 1944 ( D-Day). Excellent overall with 95% plus original Parkerizing. Forend and stock very good plus with “S A / GAW” rectangular cartouche and Ordnance “CROSSED CANNONS” acceptance stamp. Circled “P” proof stamped behind the trigger guard. Upper hand guard probable post War replacement but very close match. Near mint bore and in perfect working order. Originalsling. Very nice example.
