WW2 SPRINGFIELD U.S. M-1 OR M1 GARAND RIFLE CIRCA 1943 W/1965 BARREL DATE. .30-06 cal. Springfield Arsenal rework with original stock having a rework rectangular cartouche stamped “S A /G H S” and the “CROSSED CANNON” circular Ordnance Acceptance stamp to the right of it. The original WW2 cartouche was removed at the time of the rework and the current one stamped over it. 99% Springfield Parkerizing remaining. The stock and forend have all the arsenal finish. Perfect working order and mint bore. Superb example as redone in 1965.
