#3702 Adams 36 Caliber Navy Pocket D.A. Percussion Revolver
This is a very nice Adams 36 caliber navy revolver. This nice 5 shot 4.5” barrel D.A. percussion revolver retains over 85% original blue finish. The bore and mechanical function is excellent and the safety is excellent. The lever appears to be case colors and the hammer and trigger are in the white. The barrel is marked Robert Adams 76
King Street London and is marked Adams patent No 40328 on the right side of the frame. The wood grip is nicely checkered. There is a single line pattern engraved on the frame and top strap. These were very popular during the Civil War as a spare five shot 36 caliber D.A. revolver ready to go and tucked in a soldiers pocket or belt could have been a life saver in a battle situation
