- Note: This is one of those unusual rifles that comes along every now and then. This is a varmint rifle built on a type 38 Arisaka military action. The bolt has been bent for low swing scope clearance. The action has been milled, drilled and tapped, and mounted with a one piece Redfield bridge mount. The gun has been fitted with a custom trigger which is set very light but safe. The stock is nothing refined, but a reasonably nice piece of walnut with a standard cheeck piece and Monte Carlo comb. The length of pull is 13 5/8" over a Pachmayr white outline pad. There are some light chips and a drying crack just behind the bolt head at the wrist of the stock. Bore is bright with strong lands and grooves. This should be a reloader's dream!
