This Walther late war variation number 5, with a serial number that falls into the range of the last 2, 500 guns made. This PP .32 with an excellent shiny bore, and some roughness in the grooves from late war ammo with corrosive primers. Blue finish is about 80% with wear on high points, and thinning of color.This fine gun is right to the letter on the 5th variation, miss matched number on the slide and frame, As mark on the slide, no military proofs, the grips are hardwood pressed with the Walther logo. Comes with one mag marked: W on one side and the other is Walther banner, ans PP 7.65 m/m. Last known number to leave the factory is 390653P and this gun is numbered on the frame:3878252, and the slide is 393879P . so this looks like last week of production?
