1967 - Beretta BL-5 12ga, 28" M/F,
Vent Rib, Ejectors, Single Selective Trigger, LOP 14-1/4", Drop 1-1/2" to 2-3/8", Weght 7 lbs. 3 oz.

These early BL-5s were the Highest Grade Box Lock Beretta made until the introduction of the BL-6 a few years later. Completely Hand Engraved with features that were later dropped from even the BL-6 - Long Trigger Guard Tang and Checkering on the Ribs at the Muzzle.

This one is Serial Number 28. One of the first BL series guns produced.

The gun has been used very little. Mechanically perfect - would pass for unfired.
There are a scattering of handling marks on the butt stock - very light scratches. The finish on the barrels, forearm iron and trigger guard are 99+% As New. The finish on the reciever is tarnished. There is no sign of corrosion or any kind of material damage to the metal, just discoloration.
