Also carried by many outlaws and lawmen in that period. The first cartridge revolver purchased by the U.S, govt. Gun in good condition, original and complete..Metal surfaces, brown patina. No heavy pitting. Some light pitting on barrel rib which partially obscures U.S. and patent markings. Wood good. Light depression on leftr grip where cartouch normally is. Ainsworth inspected.
