#3709 Lewis & Tomes 10 Gauge Double Very Nice High Grade Shotgun
This is a very high quality Lewis & Tomes 10 gauge with 30” London Fine Stub Twist barrels. It has gold inlay at the tang and platinum breach plugs. The locks retain about 65% case colors and barrels about the same amount of brown. The locks, hammers, top tang, breach, complete trigger guard and finial, ramrod pipe and cap box are all nicely engraved scroll and hunting scene. The wood is nicely checkered high-grade walnut. The nipples and mechanical function are all very crisp and tight. The bores are bright and shinny with a small amount of light frosting. This is a very nice high-grade 10-gauge shotgun with ebony ramrod with auger tip and cover. There is one very tiny minor very fine crack behind the right lock. This would not affect its functionality or hamper it’s beautiful appearance.
