WINCHESTER MODEL 94 LIMITED EDITION CENTENNIAL 1894-1994, HIGH GRADE AND GRADE I, MATCHED SET, 30-30 Caliber, 26 inch half round and half octagon barrel rifles, Extra fancy burl walnut, 3 digit serial number (in the 300 range).
(The following description is from the 1994 Winchester Catalog)
"Both models utilize the basic receiver engraving and stock/forearm checkering and carving patterns that were available as special orders from the factory in the 1890s. Both have pistol grip stock and half magazine. The Limited Edition High Grade model features a blued barrel and receiver. Checkering is the historical "F" style complete with spade carvings. The receiver is engraved in the #6 style with gold bordering, with a Gold Deer on the right and a Gold Mountain Sheep on the left. It also features a replica Lyman No. 2 tang mounted rear peep sight."
The grade I rifle, engraved with whitetail deer and scroll on both sides, half round and half octagon 26 inch barrel, Extra fancy burl walnut, 3 digit serial number (in the 300 range), both guns come new in original factory cartons with decorative sleeves.
