Description: Serial #8496, 7.5mm Swedish, 4 1/2” octagon barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome revolver, made circa 1900, that has 85-90% of its original bright rust-blued finish remaining with some light fading and silvering along the edges of the barrel and unit marked frame (“L No. 3724”). Additionally, there are some small areas of freckling and pinprick pitting visible on the trigger, hammer, and loading gate spring which retain much of their original dark but brilliant straw color and the cylinder, which has a light turn-ring and mild fading at the edges. The checkered wooden grips are in very good-fine condition and exhibit some minor flattening of the points with light handling marks at the butt on either side. The revolver locks up tightly and the mechanism functions flawlessly and is housed in an original dark brown leather flap holster with double belt loops and black enameled snap fastener. This is a great “Husky” in fine overall condition that would make a nice addition to any collection.
