Description:
This type 30 bayonet features a flat bird's head pommel with number (75772), riveted grips, blued blade with fullers, and hooked quillon. The ricasso is stamped with Jinsen arsenal symbol. Quillon and pommel retain 40% fading blue with light oxidation staining. The blade shows a period sharpening on first six inches and retains 90% bright blue. The later type scabbard has browned with nice patina and still wears original rubber frog with solid top. A great Japanese bayonet set with the scarcer rubber frog.
