Description:
Serial #231096, 12 ga. (2 3/4”), 26” barrels with excellent, bright bores (choked Mod. And Full). This is an extractor-equipped gun, and is built on a 1 1/2 frame. The gun has been professionally restored with virtually all of the blue remaining on the barrel and 98-99% of the very nice color case-hardening remaining on the frame and forend furniture. The markings, minimal engraving, and barrel rib matting are still crisp and distinct; the edges are still sharp; and barrels have not been shortened. The walnut forend and pistol grip buttstock have only some minor handling marks and surface blemishes scattered about the excellent oil finish, and the checkering is still rather sharp with only some minor flattening of the points here and there. The gun is mechanically excellent with firm lock-up and a lever that is right-of-center. The gun weighs 6 lbs. 15 oz., has a length of pull that measures 14 3/4” (to a period White Line recoil pad), and has drops of 1 5/8” and 3” respectively. This is a super looking Parker, restored by someone who knew what they were doing, and should prove a worthy companion during upland hunting in the fall. FFL or C&R
