Description:
Here's a great revolver with high level of original condition, scarce barrel length, cool caliber and provenance. Originally sent to the Police Chief of El Drado, Kansas in 1930, this 5" revolver has seen very little use. Matching numbers, Mechanically perfect with like-new bore and chambers and no rust even under the top strap and around the breech/forcing cone. Finish still intact on cylinder face, with machining marks crisp and visible. Factory finish, case colors and wood rate an EASY 95%, and some dealers would quickly rationalize this example up to 98%. Here are the visible flaws...mild finish worn thru both sides behind the muzzle (looks much worse in the close up pics than in real life!), small frosted spot on front of the crane, around where the axle is pressed in, has some dust in the crevaces that needs cleaning out.
