Description:
The 1878 series revolver used the same barrel , ejector parts, and a very similar cylinder as the Single Action Army. The cylinder on this revolver is loose; however, it locks up tight when the trigger is pulled. The timing seems to be correct. The barrel is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG CO HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." and "455 ELEY.".
