Description:
This is a Colt model 1911 U.S. Army manufactured in 1918. It is in fairly good condition, but has wear on the metal throughout the entire gun. The wear seems to be the heaviest on top of the slide, the grip straps, and on the left side of the frame. The right side of the frame has wear as well, but isn't quite as worn as the left. The pistol shows signs of possible holster wear, close to the muzzle. There is a scratch on the left side of the gun just above and behind the trigger. There are some scratches visible on and near trigger guard. The bore is in very good condition, with fairly good rifling. The grip panels are in good condition with some small scratches visible on both sides.
