Description:
These are usually considered by some to be a police or parade sword, but they were issued to military officers, as this one has a five petal MUM on the grips handle. Ans rarely seen is the family crest (MON) on the back strap, and it appears to made of silver. The grips area has good strong patina and is in good condition, and the 32 1/2" chromed blade is very good. The nickle plated scabbard has surface patina and a couple of duffle bag dents.
